JSL is a Corporate Partner of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), where Cindy also serves as Co-Chair of the National Legal Industry Council (NLIC) which focuses on increasing opportunities for NGLCC-certified law firms and advancing supplier diversity throughout the legal ecosystem. JSL is also a Business Partner of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), a sponsor of the Corporate Counsel Women of Color (CCWC), and a Friend of Buying Legal Council (BLC), where Cindy is a member of the Diversity Working Group.

Additionally, Cindy participates in mentoring and educational programs, where she enjoys working with diverse-owned law firms and is a frequent speaker on DEI, supplier diversity, how to engage diverse law firms, and how diverse law firms can leverage diversity certification. Cindy and JSL have been recognized with numerous awards for their work, including: WBEC East Trusted Advisor, WOL Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, DVLF Straight Ally Hero, WBEC East Shining Star, and WBENC Mentor of the Year. JSL is also particularly proud of its progress in growing a Supplier Diversity Program that recently received the WBEC East Done Deals Award, which recognizes the WBE with the highest spend with the highest number of WBENC-certified WBEs, and is proud to have been included on the WBEC East DEI Honor Roll since the inception of the designation.
